It ramped up during the pandemic and is still going strong today — the number of Americans moving overseas to live and work. So which European and Scandinavian cities are the best bargains for cost of living?

Try Prague, in the Czech Republic, where one bedroom rentals average about $1,100 a month.

Helsinki in Finland also ranks high because the rentals are around $1,000 a month and there’s a great public transport system.

Then, there’s Zurich with one of the highest costs of living, but the tradeoff is that the average monthly salary is nearly $7,000.
