Columbia is constantly pulsating with rhythms, whether it be spicy samba or electrifying rock’n’roll. To further encourage the celebration of all things music and culture, the Ministry of Culture, Recreation, and Sports in Bogota has put on a series of concerts to celebrate the various genres that make the city tick.
The Al Parque series takes place throughout the year, and each installment is 2 nights of non-stop good music. By supporting these events, the government underscores its commitment to preserving and showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage while also providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents on an international stage. These free events also promote local projects and Colombian artists are encouraged to apply for scholarships that finance their performances and take their acts to some of the biggest stages in the country.
So, if you are visiting Colombia in the second half of 2024, make sure to catch one of these stellar concerts to experience the best that Bogota has to offer!
